GAZ are an Accredited Employer with Immigration New Zealand and encourage overseas applicants with a certificate at NZQF Level 4, or higher qualification (Qualified Diesel Mechanic), which includes the credit and knowledge requirements of the NZ Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering (NZQF Level 4).
GAZ are also keen to welcome applicants on a Working Holiday Visa. It’s a great option for someone (18-30 years old, but up to 35 for a selected number of countries) who would like to come to New Zealand for a couple of years. It’s also quicker and easier to get a visa.
People from the United Kingdom can currently stay up to 36 months.
