What we are looking for:

It's not all about laptops, EST's and GPS! This role is about real hands-on repairs and engineering - diagnosing issues and bringing hardworking agricultural machinery back to life.  From tractors to feed wagons, no two days are the same. You'll tackle everything from broken bolts to refurbishments - making older machines work like they should.

• Overtime paid at time and a half for all hours worked over 40 per week

You will work a minimum of 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

What you will have:

• Solid mechanical/engineering experience (Ag machinery, tractors, heavy equipment or similar) 
• Strong fault-finding and problem solving skills Ability to strip, repair and rebuild components 
• Be great at welding (mig & arc)/fabrication skills. 
• Being able to use a metal lathe and other workshop tools is a must. 
• A practical hands-on approach - be someone who can think on their feet 
• Good work ethic and pride in doing the job right Ability to get on with it on your own, but also be part of a tight-knit team 
• A full drivers license and able to drive a manual vehicle 
• Be able to drive a forklift A heavy diesel or engineering qualification would be nice, but experience and skills are what we're after
